APHC will broadcast out of Highland Park, IL this week. Jack Elliot guests with his brand of Americana and a Wisconsin singer-songwriter, Jon Troast, will play his tunes for us. Prudence finally graces the stage with GK, too.
The rest of the cast is as usual, but with a harmonica! Woohoo! Howard Levy will be playing. I'll have to be sure to send my brother-in-law a note. He's been learning the harmonica for the past two years and he likes to accompany musicians on the show (while in his living room, of course).

Yes, we're back in my hometown this week. My high school graduation was on this very stage... Well also have Canadian soprano Andriana Chuchman. She is a new member of the Ryan Opera Center. (Lyric Opera School).
Garrison's been busy on a new cicada song/script (the 17 year cicadas are in full bloom right now at Ravinia, so listen for their unusual drone during the show). They tend to quiet down as the sun sets...
We all had my favorite pizza from Piero's at our rehearsal this afternoon - always a welcome treat when we come back here!

We'll be at graduation this afternoon, so I will have to catch the re-broadcast.
I love Ramblin' Jack Elliott.

Well, I'm here. We've been out buying a manufactured home since May. Got carried away and ordered a 4 bdrm number, to turn master bdrm into a library and another into a studio. It even has a den/office jobby. We added french doors in the library and a sliding patio door off the family room, for a total of four exits in case of an emergency I can still get myself out. Wooden decks all around so I can go outside without sinking into the ground in my power chair. The cats claim to be enthusiastic but in fact they are nervous. Jerry's commute goes from 8 mi to 16 mi but the time is cut in half. He can do the train or a bus or a scooter or any combination thereof.

Hi, Taz. It's a fine page, though a bit sparse. Post some of those eccentric kitty pictures. Your house sounds like a great design. so how long to put it together and haul it to wherever you want it planted?
I've been working hard all day and am not sure I'll sit up at the computer - may just veg out. But hi and cheers to everyone.

That Tom guy on "my space" is on everyone's "my Space" as a friend. He's a plonker.

The polite version is "waste of space".
Cambridge dictionary: noun [C] UK INFORMAL a foolish or stupid person: for example: "What did you do that for, you plonker?"

Sort of a cypher. A placeholder, like a zero.

Thomas, who's on fiddle tonight? I'd like a mental image of who I'm lusting after hearing.

Enjoyed the opener, mentioning all the Midwestern spring flowers. Reminded me of home, out on the West Central Illinois prairie.

We learned that song in German. I can't spell the words - does anyone remember it? Something like Wenn ich komm, wenn ich wiederung komm.." Help! Had nothing to do with a wooden heart that i can remember.

Um, I'm having a hard time following the line-up. Who's singing? Is the same one who's catching my ear with his guitar?

This is that Jon Troast kid from Lake Geneva, WI. Now, put your feet flat on the floor, sit up straight and listen! I don't want to have to tell you again.

I understand blanched cicadas, with a little mayo, taste just like asparagus.
