It was supposed to rain here, a relief from the heat, but no rain in sight. Our cherry tree is overloaded and it's too hot to pick em.

Sorry to hear that Itma.... perhaps you should shift some across the pond to us. I still need some rain in my garden. I have had a new animal come make a home in my yard, a little gopher tortoise.

Hey Itma, do you make the most of the LONG days in your Summer? Living in Florida we have a lot less "sunshine" in the Summer than you do.

Yes, we enjoy the long days in summer.
Exactly a year ago today I watched golfers at St Andrews at 10pm - and they were on the 15th green!

Thanks, Taz! Nothing like what I thought, but vaguely familiar. German classes were more than 40 years ago ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Yeah, he recorded it in 1960. We got it in my junior high German class, too.

Yep, DW, we have a good sight line, and good elevation for all the shots from the Cape. The nighttime ones are really cool.

Yes, we enjoy the long days in summer. Exactly a year ago today I watched golfers at St Andrews at 10pm - and they were on the 15th green! A favorite memory is my first time on Kodiak Island. We were barbecuing on the twilit lawn at 1:30 a.m. i called my husband in Seattle and was a little miffed that he thought it was pretty late to be calling. Strangely, I was going to bed at 2:30 and getting up and 5:30 and it felt the same as going to bed at 10:30 pm and up at 6:30 am in the south 48.

Bad radio, taz. I didn't hear those words till high school Biology. By the way, does that motorized chair have a hemi? Um, well. I dunno what a hemi is. Unless you mean like a hemi-half-ton load, which is me, which is a 'yes' then. (Ah, a much better rendition than B Dylan's own)
