Well, it looks like last weeks show might have been the last one. DW said his station was no longer carrying LFH. There was no announcement from our Orlando station, WMFE. But our old station from down south, WQCS in Ft Pierce, mentioned that the show was over in a post about their new weekend schedule. There is no show announcement on their Facebook page, where I usually see it, and last week's announcement spoke of this "bittersweet week". I messaged them for confirmation but haven't heard anything back. I guess show up around 6:00 is the plan, and we can figure out what we want to do. We are one week shy of 14 years since we came here from the old Chatterbox.

There are a couple of options I plan to pursue.... the web site has old shows aplenty to pick from... I found this one which would be nice to listen to again: www.prairiehome.org/shows/58613.html They usually put a link on Facebook, which others across the world might tune in and listen to so we could in a sense be a part of a larger virtual audience if we chose//// but I do not yet see that link. Will update at or before 6 pm Eastern

I was looking for a show link, unsuccessful for some reason - I was at a Facebook page that seemed to think I wasn't a member even though I thought I was. They were offering the final Tanglewood show in 2016, which I thought would be great. IIRC Jay and I were there.
But this show looks fine too. I remember going to one season opener show at the Fitzgerald, where they had the Meatloaf dinner and then the street party afterwards. Only thing - if you actually attended the show, by the time it was over the meatloaf was all gone!

I do not even see an offering for the Tanglewood show... but would enjoy reading your and Jay's recollections

OK, I just clicked to start the show - the one you linked to.
Jay and I went to several Tanglewood shows, and I've been to lots of others too - they all kind of blend together. The one Tanglewood show I really remember was when Arlo Guthrie was a guest and they did a sketch where GK and Arlo were discussing noisy chickens on the property. Arlo said "Now look here sir, that land here is YOUR land, this land here is MY land..." The audience burst into a lengthy, loud standing ovation and we didn't hear the next minute or two until the re-run.

On my screen, there is a long "bar" beneath the show title which is green and as the show progresses it turns blue. you can put your cursor on that and move the listening point up or backwards

It is true that I do not care for venison but I know that when I lived in WV quite a few people I knew relied on hunting to stock their freezers so they had food to eat.

Well, I didn't start "The Lake Wobegone Virus" yet. I'm reading Bob Woodward's new book.
Ah, Life's Persistent Questions. I haven't been keeping track of my Persistent Questions lately.
