Sometimes, Bookie, when you return to prairiechatter, do you use the url that's saved in your history? If so, then refresh and you might find yourself logged out. That is, if you logged out when you left in the session prior.
If someone sends me a pm and I read it, but then leave and return a few hours later, upon return the message reads as "unread" unless I refresh the window and it updates itself.

No, I get what you're saying. But that's not what I was experiencing. I did try "refresh" among other things, but nothing worked except the passage of time, apparently.

I had the same trouble this morning trying to sign in. Since I can do it at work, it must be home computer that has the glitch. Wonder what it is? Seems like it must be related to the virus and spyware scan I did over the weekend, since I wasn't having trouble before that. If you never hear from me again ( ) you'll know why.

roges, it's not that books isn't logged in. She is. But she can't seem to post. She thinks it might have something to do with a virus check or security scan that she performed over the weekend.

Something has gone haywire with the "new" function. On the index pages, some threads have the "new" button even though the latest post is one which I read several days ago. And where there actually is an unread post. when I click on the "new" button, it does not take me to the unread post(s) but just to the top of the first page.

Wait for the upgrade to kick in fully. (You should also have a problem with "members latest posts" on their profiles for a couple of days - see next post about the upgrade.)
