Last time I was in Minneapolis' State Theater I enjoyed an enthralling concert by the Soweto Gospel Choir. Let's see what APHC can do there this Saturday. Carrie Rodreguez, a Texan with a voice and a pen and a fiddle will do her thang along with Hans Holzen and Kyle Kegerreis. Now doncha wish all Texans would do their thang as well as Carrie? As for Carrie, hot damn, t'babe! Peter Ostroushko will be on stage. Is he going to Norway? I heard that he'd like to go on a cruise with APHC. And Andy Stein will be stroking his fiddle, too.

Well. The door is open and the breeze is floating in making the house smell like May. I hear footsteps coming up the walk. Is that a Scottish accent I hear?

Nope, pj, just a Midwestern accent, an Illinois country boy just trying to get along. Sounds like a good lineup tonight.

Hi, compadres. I just finished cleaning up from the unending sanding and yardwork. GK isn't fibbing - it's hot out in MN and we're not used to it.

Country music the way it's supposed to be done; not some wheezy, whiny, overproduced metro nonsense.

Typing is somewhat challenging this evening. I am holding a 9-week old pup durning the show. He snores and is extremely gassy. Kindalike itma.

Awwwww. What kind of a gassy pup wil he grow into? Looks sort of boxer-ish, but when they're little they look a lot a like.
