ALso eats out of tin cans, which sounds the same as having 10 cans

I prefer peach cobbler, rather than pie.. something about that gooey dough and sweet filling Oh, yucko. You clearly have not had my Jefferson County peach pie. Though shortcake is hard to beat. Or ice cream made just with cream and peaches with perhaps a hint of Schlivovitz coming up underneath it. But rhubarb crumble the way that Jeannette's Mom taught us to make it. Yes! Ooo, yes!

If it's 10 cans of the wrong stuff, you could use some rhubarb pie.

Momentarily drop of signal - currently on the backup... So much for "under control".... Does the signal ever hit anything when it's dropped? I'm sorry. I hope you find it soon. Maybe it just rolled under the bed.

Screven on my map, dw. But what's a vowel or two between friends? You're probably right about the spelling. I have no map, just know how the relatives all said it. I should probably check with my cousin to see if the fires have involved the old homestead. If she knows - she lives in Atlanta.

Plum Brandy spoiling the peaches Seattle Taz??? what's the matter with the peach and sugar taste alone? *Under*, the flavor comes *under* the peaches (we're talking a tablespoon to a pint of cream plus a cup of milk). It makes it seem a bit fruitier, but the peaches do have to be ripe. Sun ripened, organic, local. To absolutely die for. Just roll over, four feet in the air, dead to die for. And good schlivovitz, not necessarily what your father-in-law prides himself on making, which tastes like diesel fuel.

Speaking of flavor... people that spit in the Chattahoochee River in Columbus give flavor to the oysters I eat from Apalachicola Bay in Florida... amazing what river flow can do

Seattle Taz, my Father-In-Law is an abolitionist, sadly.. so no brandy being made in the tradition of diesel fuel

Georgia Public Radio, by the way, runs the same shows statewide over a number of stations... so no matter where you are in the state, if you tune in you hear the same thing

Hey, dw, do you also do the "warsh"? Well regional accents used to be everyone had one. We had a teacher in grade school that accused my girlfriend of saying we lived in Warshington State, but what did she know? She pronounced Snoqualmie as if it had only three syllables. For years after departing the PNW folks thought I was certainly from Canada. When I got back from India it was either South Africa or New Zealand. I still get car parts confused and once - once only - took a left turn on to the left hand side of the road bed. My Dad looked stunned and then said, very calmly, "Honey, in this country we drive on the right hand side of the road." I was about to figure that out anyway from the cars that were headed straight at us.
