Some of you are hearing the broadcast just slightly ahead of what I'm hearing.

And these sweet girls are just no way 16 votes from first. Maybe the entire Pairie Home audience has changed - who ARE these people?

Well, if I was second I wouldn't want to play after the announcement. They must have time to kill.

Great monologue. Loved it.
3rd place - Yay Seth, Yay Daisy Mae! The Ray Marklund Award, yes! - the Karg Boys 2nd place - the Sweetback Sisters - silver tongue and gold plated lies? *Now* they are sounding better. Where were their editors or whatever it is in singing? Russell College of Accents - as usual, he slips in some killer social commentary in his humorous sketches
Powderkegs are #1. There are boys at Bryn Mawr?

I'm pretty darn pleased, too, but this goofy song isn't raising them in my estimation. Play more fiddle before I regret my vote! OK, some good harmonica, but the song is hoky-dumb.

either it's because I'm from NY or you guys are as predictable as I thought you were. Powderkegs are similar to most of the music on PHC.... Sisters are unique sound which is probably why they came in second. We'll forget that my mom was born and raised in Brookyn
