Thanks for the rundown Thomas. It looks like a really great show, and I can see it will be very emotional for me.

Trusty said he was working today, but hoped to get here for the show. No idea where everyone else is. Brit did say he was withdrawing, but I had hoped he would make an exception to be here for the Show Thread.

I didn't know GK could sing in Hawaiian! What "Thanks" were cut, Thomas? Something about veterans and Pearl Harbor?

Na Pali coast of Kauai - those cliffs he is referring to - quite spectacular. Do you get to sightsee Thomas? I probably should know better than to think you have spare time to visit the neighbor islands...

But the memories of Hawaii stay close in my heart, particularly the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, and especially on Veterans' Day.
I think of living in Honolulu back in 1962 - just 3 years into statehood for Hawaii, and less than 20 years from the end of WW II. My dad was a WW II vet of course.

How very nice Thomas to have extra time in the islands. Enjoy - and you know who to ask if you have sightseeing questions...

I can barely comprehend how Pearl Harbor affected those who were there.
