They are wonderful.....if no one else asks for them, yes, please, I would love them.
I like this kind of music when I'm alone and destressing at night, you know?

Gracie, you never did send me your snail-mail address.... Good grief. I am an idjit. (NOT a dumb blonde, mind you, there is a difference.) I have been deathly ill for almost a week and this is the first day I even got out of bed, so I plead...unavailability, or something like. Check your PMs.

I got your package, slb, but was out of commission, as you know, for a while.
The CDs remain in my car and I listen to them on the road. There are several Indian women who work here at the library with me and I lent the Dakshina Ensemble to Priti, who loves it as much as I do.
Thank you again for your kind generosity. Griz heard them a few days ago and came in asking what the HECK was that music and where'd I get it and I told him....he basically said whatever floats your boat....but he should know by now that I listen to many, many, MANY different artists....silly man.
Made me want to record some of the stuff I like most and send it to you but have no way to burn a CD anymore now that Griz's pc bit the dust.

Two thoughts on this.
Big Clapton fan. Recently I've become fond of his "Blue Jean Blues." It was a song which I'd overlooked the first time around but certainly speaks to me now.
Listening to a lot of Pink Floyd which also escaped my attention earlier in my life.
And, for heaven's sake, Queen. Those girls have certainly written some eclectic and well done tunes.
Other thought: Daughter just introduced me to Freecycle. At the risk of sounding out of the loop and providing info that is old news it is an enterprise which provides local message boards for people who are trying to give items away. The perfect solution to my need to dispose of household extras which are too good to throw.
And it is reciprocal. So maybe I can get some more unneccesary stuff!

Music.
I am delighted to have finally found a dual recording of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album which has been synched to "The Wizard of Oz" film. I've read about it for years and have been curious. It runs one-hundred minutes, and from a short preview, appears astounding.
Son is coming and we're going to pop some popcorn. Can't wait.
"The lunatic is in the hall. . ." Who will that be?
