Let us know how you did. I scored a 59%. I know that'll be the lowest, so there. You've got nothing to lose. You can't do worse. civics test

93.3%
I got four wrong — one of them because I didn't read carefully enough and thought they were talking about Andrew Lackson, not Andrew Johnson. I could have had a 95, but it's my own darn fault.
The ones I got wrong were 13, 57, 58, and 60. (I told you I don't know about economics.)

Andrew Lackson: An obscure American president who served briefly in the early 1800's. After a mere four hours in office, he resigned, admitting that he only ran "for a laff." His name has been hidden by historians for years.

Otherwise the errator can go back and modify the post to correct it (as I am sorely tempted to do later today or tomorrow), and everybody wonders what the heck you're talking about.

Good grief! It's got 60 or more questions? I've been coming back to it off and on and thinking, cripes it'll be over woon. Now I'm going to eat lunch. Jackson kind of humg me up to, which makes jan'es description all the more accurate.

I took one look at the first page and I instinctively knew I knew very little of your history, so count me out on this game please.

Well, actually, I did take the test and scored more than I expected. 40% correct, but I freely admit many of them were wild guesses.

93%. My grasp of economics is not what it could be. No wonder I'm poor.

Only 90%. What can I say? My wrong choices were always vs. the right one. Duh. I mean I'd get it down to 2 and then guess the wrong one. Isn't close to right worth something?
But I did fine on economics, so ya'll can come to me for advice (and a small fee) anytime.

I notice that those who've taken it, (besides Brit) and scored poorly haven't said anything.
Guess they didn't want to take away my claim of "Worst Score."

I took a look and knew I was in for a sad result and decided not to play.

If it's any consolation, slb, I did not do nearly as well as the high scorers amongst us. I got a pathetic score of 68.33%. I was going to speculate that there was some sort of inverse proportion of score to age, but then PT would come along and get a hundred and that would just shoot holes in my theory.

[glow=pink,2,300]Ok Ok slb~! 61.67% here. That's practically 62%, n'est pas? And if we get graded on the curve, well, I think I may have passed.[/glow]

I scored 85%, which was a surprise since I have frequently admitted that I am not good in history. I was probably saved by correct answers on economics questions, as I am probably better in econ than history.
I did have to take one semester of 9th grade civics in high school, so maybe it's just that I have a good memory.

66.67% here. Lots of guesses, quite a few "just plain missed" answers. Oh, I grade your curves very highly! ;D

I teach American history and I scored only 83.33. I missed ten, three very closely after going back and forth with myself. The ones I missed tended to be the ones testing knowledge of philosophical writings and economics. Pooh!!
