This evening has been quie a challenge. We recorded last night, then the weather changed for the better so GK wanted to go live off the satellite. 10 Minutes before air a squall came in and we lost power. We got back up 2 minutes before, but I understand th satellite wasn't stable, so they switched to last night's feed...
It's pouring here now and half the crowd has left, but the sturdy souls are braving the weather. GK just went out to sing amongst the crowd and came back to the stage looking as if he took a shower in his tux...
Gotta run - take care all.

Thanks for your Time Thomas.
Were the red sox ruined?
That's all I want to know. Forget the tucks.
I have enough of them.

Hot dang, Thomas. Sounds like fun. Watch out for all the wires and cables in that rain. This is Prairie Home Companion, not the Electric Light Orchestra.

By the way, we got GK's voiceover a couple minutes into the show, saying we would be hearing the recording of last night's similar show because of weather interfering with the satellite.

Sixteen and singing on the radio, that's pretty good. Bet her folks are proud. And she does track and field!
