What's your score? Mine was 20. Haha, big surprise. franz.org/quiz.htmI didn't care for the wording of some of the questions, and a couple I just couldn't vote either way.

Sorry, BL, I had a hard time on question one and got totally stuck on question two. Judging from the pictures, this is fairly old, so I tried to think of how I would have felt then, but even that didn't work. I want to be the laughably idealistic liberal I used to be, but it's just not possible. That doesn't move me to the right, though; it makes me want to guzzle paisano and eat Pringles. Chocolate-dipped Pringles.

Oh, well, I don't know. A friend emailed the link to me. It didn't surprise me one bit that I was smack in the middle. But HTF do you answer a question like, "which do you trust more, labor leaders or business executives?" NEITHER!!! But that wasn't an option. So I left that one blank. I guess no one here really needs a quiz to find out their position on the left-right continuum.

I tried to take it, but it was so slow tabulating my score that I gave up.
We had something like it — but with better questions, I think — in the former Chatterbox Cafe, and I was surprised at how near the center I was.

I was quite centrist too, but not surprised. I knew that, and I think that is similar to most Americans. Agree - most of the questions did not include the correct answer, or both choices were untrustworthy.
The PR is all at the partisan extremes, while most of The People are in the center, maybe a little right or a little left. A major problem with our politics today, and a reason that many important matters are unattended.

I got 8, but this may be because I do not know the intracacies of persons named or particular topics that are unique to the U.S.

Nope, it's because you got 8 Actually I'm wondering how you got even that many - or did you mean you were able to answer only 8 questions? My guess is that it's fair to say you're left of center.
