A Prairie Home Companion, will be airing a couple of repeat shows. That's cool. Thomas ought to have some time off. Whatcha doing over your break, ThoS?
So, the shows will be from last January at the Ted Mann Concert Hall, which I've been to when I reviewed the Sowehto Gospel Choir (breathtaking). There's a lesson in Latin by, sounds like, your favorite librarian Ruth Harrison as she wrestles a former classmate to the ground. Wonderful Robin & Linda Williams will croon to us. ;D
Also on the show: Nashville rising star Adrienne Young, Bulgarian violin prodigy Bella Hristova, and U of M vocal student Janine Bremault.
My huggie-lovey-bear, Andy Stein, will play his fiddle and sax with the Shoe band.

Good timing to air rebroadcasts....from what I hear the heart of the country is being hammared by really bad weather. Hope it doesn't head to Maine.

Not alone, kitehill. I just blew in from the raging tundra, after shoveling a bit of a clear space for the dogs. It's not really bad yet, but it's coming down fast. Our little dogs - a cocker and a corgie - are bouncing with joy, but before long the corgi might be buried.

Yes, but there's nothing wrong with a fine repeat. Where else can you hear Horace?

Evening, folks. Don't worry about your weather sentiments, kite. Your turn will come, while someone else is getting a breather.

Yes, but there's nothing wrong with a fine repeat. Where else can you hear Horace? Is this the show with Horace recited in Latin? I love that show!

Oh, dear. If PJs husband is listening to this, he might not like it any better than American opera.

Gail, the original show had a couple of Latin segments. If this one is a combined show, they might not include both. Who knows? Great show, though. I taped it and listened to it a bunch of times.
I think this might be the show with Pat doing Broken Arrow Blues.

I sorta miss Thomas's usual run-down. It's fun to catch up on what is missed and what is not missed.

Don't worry about the not taping, BL. First of all you don't want to wind up like Howard Hughes, who spent his final days watching endless reruns of "Ice Station Zebra." I mean, next we'll find you in a house with thirteen cats and a lot of back issues of Nat'l Geographic. It's better to go out and make your own show on a daily basis.
