GK does sound very normal. I wouldn't be able to tell his is sick if Thomas hadn't told us.

I just listen to the radio while I'm in front of the computer, bookie. I don't try to do any simultaneous thing. By the way, do you know of any good orthography texts? I also really enjoyed studying word roots, prefixes and suffixes. Maybe I'm just starting to withdraw backward.

dw, here they stretch the real show out to three hours, and interrupt every few minutes for pledge breaks. But we supposedly get the whole thing.

Hi DW
Bookie, during station ID - they confirmed its KUOW 94.9. They'll rebroadcast tomorrow at 10 am PT. Maybe that can be stramed too.

His voice is very low - He's wiping his nose every few minutes. We've had to "EQ" the heck out of his voice to compensate. He still sounds congested to me...

Hey, dw. We're lucky down here, our station does what they call a "quiet drive", just asking for funds but not interrupting programming.

j, sometimes I'm able to listen to the radio while I'm on the computer, but that's not gonna work tonight.
Google "orthography," and see what you get. If you find any good texts mentioned, look for them on abebooks.com or half.com.
Is "orthography" related to "etymology"?

I am listening on a small am/fm radio that is about 20 plus years old as I sit by the computer and GK sounds a little different tonight... so I suppose the congestion does come across if you listen closely

Hi, DW. We're trying to help BL, whose pledge week has thrown her off. BL, we've already heard the News here. So definitely don't turn to MPR. We're having pledge week too, but they're doing just one break - which is now. We must all be hearing different things. Gee, now they just said we'll get all the News - I thought we already had it. Twilight Zone

And don't donfuse "etymology" with "entomology"; "entomology" is about bugs, "etymology" is more related to bookworms !

I had my brain operated on at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Far as I could see, all the staples were on the OUTSIDE. Do you think it still worked?

Cheesh.....Don't remind me of staples.....makes me dizzy......when I broke my leg, and they put in a plate (along with a homing device so the billing department could find me), they put me back together with staples.....talk about ugly.....I need a sip of water...BRB
