This week APHC makes my heart beat faster with yes! Jerry Douglas as he plays his resophonic guitar (that's what Cindy Cashdollar often plays on APHC). And I shall swoon to Billy Collins as he reads his hysterical, yet poignant poetry. There's the regulars such as: Tim Russell, Sue Scott, and Fred Newman, and in the Shoe Band, grrowl: ![:-*](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/kiss.png) Andy Stein ![:-*](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/kiss.png) . It's all happening in New York City, folks.

Billy Collins!! Yay!
Edited to add: Rats. I just realized I'm probably going to miss the show AND the replay. I'll have to see if I can get hubby to man the tape recorder. Hope all who come here to listen together enjoy the show and the posting camaraderie.

scotbrit — your arrival just about at the end of the Metropolitan Opera broadcast has me wondering if you listen to that too.

No.
I've just finished watching a DVD of Katherine Jenkins and I have been wallowing in her fantastic voice and weeping for the past 90 minutes.
That girl is something else. She is out of this world.
Although I saw her live a couple of weeks ago, this DVD is amazing.

Hey, Trusty. I'm here, but listening and eating in front of the screen, so I won't post for awhile; I can only take multi-tasking so far without getting into trouble.

I loved them all. This is a great show. As dog lovers, Jay, we know that dogs do harbor contempt for us, but it's fond contempt.

And who but GK (I'm lower-case, Trusty) could rhyme all these Jewish words? Hannakuh in Santa Monica is marvelous.
Well, pooh. It was Tom Lear. Oh well.
