Getting this posted as I am likely not going to be around when the normal listening hours would take place. North Carolina is great this year, having some cool days and nights and although there is rain, it is less than has been in the past. Seen waterfalls, a bear cross the road, wild turkey on the Blue Ridge Parkway.. and more to come! www.prairiehome.org/shows/57319.htmlThis weekend, we travel with some Powdermilk Biscuits back to 2005 for a show at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois, featuring Prudence Johnson, the Mila Vocal Ensemble, and the Ditty Bops. Andy Stein on violin and Howard Levy on harmonica sit in with the Guy’s All-Star Shoe Band for a great show. Honey, could you ask for more? GK will of course tell us about Lake Wobegon and there will be Guy Noir, Lives of the Cowboys and even rhubarb!

Thanks for posting DW! I think I will be at The Gorge Outdoor Amphitheater in George, WA to see Brandi Carlile and Sheryl Crow and Amethyst Kiah. The only potential bugaboo is the predicted heat dome with temp of 104. The show will be livestreamed too if you can't attend in person, 5:30 PDT, probably will last about 4 hours. Her shows are always great. $39 for the show + a copy of her new book. brandicarlile.veeps.com/stream/events/2c55a92a-fe52-4396-8510-9096572c6cb0

I am at the hotel in Ellensburg, not exactly nearby because The Gorge is in the middle of nowhere. But close enough to be a shorter trip over to the concert, plus having AC at the hotel is much better than camping out at the Gorge in the heat.
Gonna be great!
