Showtime! Coming from right down the road a bit, albeit 17 years ago.
I wasn't at the show, as I didn't become seriously interested in APHC until 2006 when we booked the first Alaska cruise.
BUT - Hopeful Gospel Quartet is touring a bit this summer.

Good evening all. I'm distracted this evening on the phone on and off with my sister (My Mom is not doing well) and trying to cook dinner with my lady friend. But I am listening. Saw where Thomas chimed in last week... hope he is doing well.

Yeah, doc, I think about 2004 when we got together here. I remember when you showed up, the Chatterbox had been active for a while. Or I had been in the Chatterbox might be a better way to put it. I was still basically technophobic.

Hey, doc. I was flipping through Facebook when the Time Jumpers page showed up. They had pix of Dawn Sears last appearance with the band, June 23, 2014. Hard to believe it's been so long since they were on the show, it must have been in 2013.

I love "In the Green Summertime" so much I am replaying it!
I just ordered several of their old CD's - they had a sale on the new one that will be out in July.

I'm having a hard time imagining lasagna without noodles.
No "moistness" apparent in western WA today!

I was still basically technophobic. Ah yes, the good old Chatterbox days, shut down because of us "Dopey Cronies." It was good while it lasted. I'm just going through a similar implosion in one of my other online groups. Someone made what was regarded as an "inappropriate" remark (I didn't see anything wrong with it) and BAM, the mods locked it down and banned the leader. We've resurrected a replacement but it's not the same. Amazing how close you can get to an online group of virtual friends. Almost 3 years, 1400 pages, 35,000 posts - gone.

Well, there's plenty of moisture in Florida. Yard is getting nice and tall. Maybe if I'm careful I can get out in it tomorrow. I'm all done with PT on this R shoulder, so it's OK to pull the starter rope on the yard machinery. Of course I wound up doing something to my L shoulder, putting it over the edge. MRI on that this week, doc at least is saying arthroscopy, try to pull things together, clean up bone spurs, rather than replacement. I tell you people, I'm just about doctored out. I've been at this stuff since before Thanksgiving.

Sorry about your group, doc. After 30 years of the Simpsons, rap music and all the other goofy, abrasive, bullshit TV that people have been raised on I don't know how anybody can be offended by anything.

It's Sizemore Reunion year in KY, and then on to Illinois, but we'll have to see how recovery goes.

Could some PT help that left shoulder Jay?
I remember those years of "making a career out of going to the doctor" - I didn't like it one bit. I've been much better the last few years; MS stuff is a lot like normal aging, and I never expected to live this long. It's all lagniappe now.

I/we have had the same thought. American society is very coarse these days, and that board had a lot of stuff that was much worse, no reaction. We just happened to catch a bad mod on a bad day. We've set up an alternative on the book of faces, and have even got a new forum on the original board - but our leader is banned. :-(

Nope, doc, no PT. Rotator all torn up. It was messed up 10 years ago, the Right one had been the good one until here lately. I had PT and imaging and all that business and the ortho in Martin Cty said he couldn't do any more for it. I guess injuries and treatments have both progressed since then. The reverse arthroplasty wasn't approved here in the US till 2003. I know I'd never seen it or heard of it when I was working in the hospital, or later at the VNA.

All the comments about Seattle are now seen from a different perspective, 22 years after we moved here, and 5 years after we returned from a hiatus elsewhere.

Yeah, there's a gross, low down and nasty nurse page that I mess with. People wear their suspensions as badges of honor, their 30 day bans. But the whole page just got cancelled this last month, so it immediately was reborn by the same folks, same name. We'll see how long we can last this time.
