You did better than me. I do not believe "pwn" is a word at all. In medicine we do a test called "the wiff test" and you will know for sure if the results are "wifty." So I believe OED is wrong. Or at least incomplete.
I did not understand the Bob Dylan test. What does it mean if I am "Blowin in the Wind"? Is that the song that fits me best? No, there are several other better choices. Or the best album? Did he make an album called "Blowin in the Wind" and that is supposed to be the best overall descriptor for me? And although it is a good tune, it is not my favorite of his.
My next Great Course is "Linguistics." I bet I will come up with lots of new words, though I did pass up (for now) a course specifically on "How to Improve Your Vocabulary." The only thing is, I bought the DVD because the course has many visuals, but I need to rip the audio only, for my commute, even though I will watch the whole thing later. Guess I need a Great Course on techno-geek.
PS - I forgot to mention I also ordered a course on "The Secret Life of Words: English Words and Their Origins." So even more new words will be forthcoming. Fortunately for me, I also have "Scientific Methods for Improving Your Memory" which I obviously need to listen to again, and I will be receiving "The Aging Brain," to which I will be paying close attention.

Be sure to share it all with us, as I wouldn't have the fortitude to put myself through the courses. The memory issue is so worrisome, i don't want to find out I'm declining even faster than I suspect.
The Dylan song assessment is purely goofy, don't you think? I swear I got "Heaven's Door" because I chose the religious painting in the group of 3 or 4 we were given. That's simply a matter of taste, not related at all to piety, any more than the song is. And I like so much of Dylan there's no way I could choose just one.
But the word thing is something else again. I'm going to try to remember (!) to do a search of newly accepted words and see if this little quiz picked out the most off-the-wall selections. I thought the OED was pretty conservative about giving its imprimatur to new words and, yes, some of these don't fit the requirements for something we could call a word. How does one even pronounce PWN?

I missed one and got 87 percent. So how come you missed one and got 89 percent? Does the test hate me?

Maybe the one I missed was harder than the one you missed, huh, Jane? Didja ever think of that? And my dog's cuter than your cat. Now here's another list I just happened across while checking spelling: blog.dictionary.com/2016-july-new-words/ This one at least has combinations of letters that I recognize as words, but I think they're a bit lax in what they think will last as a new word. Isn't that supposed to be one of the criteria? Dictionaries used to be kind of stodgy about letting any old slang into the lexicon. But I'll let you all decide before I say more. I'm pretty cranky these days.

I also got 87%. I was guessing on most of them, but I knew pwn (which originated as a typo for own).

How does one even pronounce PWN? Agreed, many great Dylan tunes, couldn't possibly choose just one. Furthermore, like all great poetry, different meanings at different times in my life. I will try to avoid any bad news postings about aging brains. When I was an insurance executive, I did a lot of public speaking about "The Benefits Implications of the Aging Work Force." Almost all good news: older workers are more reliable, have fewer unscheduled absences, and their collective wisdom leans a calmer atmosphere to the workplace. They can learn new technology just as well as younger workers, though perhaps at a slightly slower rate. They are not as good at "multi-taskin," but more recent research is negative on multi-tasking anyway so never mind about that.

Ok, so how do you pronounce it? Pone (supplying the missing "o" — or if you prefer, adding the interloping "p" to "own").
