Did you actually go up Mount Fuji this time, or was it enough to enjoy the view and the surroundings? Joe, when I was dating Emi in 1986 she was a part time tour guide leading tours to the top of Mt. Fuji. The climbing season is only two months long (July and August). The only way I could spend a weekend with Emi during those 2 summer months was to climb Mt. Fuji and I did; every weekend of those two months. So, I've been to the top 8 times - and then before the next climbing season we married and I never climbed that damn beautiful mountain again. These days I am content to simply view the mountain from the serine lakesides of the 5 Fuji lakes. All the best, Mike |

My Dahhlink says that is True Love. Makes me wonder how fine a line is it between true love and insanity. I will say that was one of the best summers of my life, and I've had some darn good summers to compare it to. Regards, Mike |
