Ok, we have a coupon special that may be national or maybe you could find it just from the company name. Here's our link: www.crowdcut.com/minneapolis-stpaul/deal/miraclenoodle-com/10006625 The deal is, these noodles have been getting attention from people like Dr. Oz, who is obviously loving all the $ he makes, but I don't think he lies. These noodles are absolutely free of everything bad - in fact, pretty much free of nutrition, too. Basically, they're fiber that you can use as pasta but without adding calories/carbs/gluten. Too good to be true? I have a feeling they're expensive even with the coupon, but I'm hoping Joe (or maybe even Mike) could add the Japanese perspective.

So what? We have "Rawwww...Bits! Made from oat hulls and wheat chaff!".
Has this stuff been advertised on Late Night TV yet? You know, like the "Almighty Colon Cleanse". I don't care how long the Asians have been keeping the "Miracle Noodle Secret", the Noodle isn't to be taken seriously over here till the Noodle has it's own Infomercial!

I wonder if a person could buy them anywhere around here? I am, as usual, trying to lose weight.
Peter (6) went to Golden Corral the other day, which, if you don't know, is an all you can eat buffet with bad food where almost everyone who eats there is seriously obese. They have a chocolate fountain, and I took the boys there once and saw someone coating a honkin' giant cotton candy in the chocolate fountain. Anyway, Peter likes his food, but when they were leaving he said, "Mom, don't take me to any more buffets! I'm just not responsible!"
So that's the way I feel about food.

ALLL-Righty then. Once again, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

The reviews are hilarious. I'm not put off at all, since I thought the whole point was to offer a vehicle for the good stuff you add. After all, you can't drink spaghetti souce. No one says they taste bad, so enough sauce and garlic should make for a tasty, lo-cal meal.
But gelatinous?

I think the part that bothered me the most was how the reviewers kept comparing them to Metamucil.

Good point, lol. Maybe you should start one noodle at a time.

Good point, lol. Maybe you should start one noodle at a time. That tactic may save you, in the end . . .

This Food? is so devoid of nutrition that the link crashed my browser. To Eat or Be Eaten... That is the question. My Cat — yes I now have a cat aaand a Bird; A free bird by the way— Have I related the story of the wing-about Cockatiel?—eats better than this.

Hey, there! Good to see/hear you. Does the free-flying Kirby mean you got him trained to your finger? Or don't you have any fingers left? And how did you acquire the cat ....or did the cat acquire you? we need pix.

Welcome back! But check in with us about more than noodles, OK? How have you been? My brother who lived in Pullman moved, so I no longer have any connection to WA--except for you , of course. Thank you for the welcome back. I have been traveling (in my mind) a different road for the past year. Catching up on thirty years of video entertainment—mostly mindless but some thought provoking and memorable—and collecting and reading literature from the 19th and early 20th century—mostly all thought provoking. I also started to study the history of the Hapsburg Empire but the historian that I chose (Robert A. Kahn) is such the scholar that he seems to assume his readers already have enough study of European history to have an ingrained understanding of the progression of the various monarchies, aristocracies and fiefdoms. I, being American, was raised to believe that Prometheus was spelled W A S H I N G T O N. so I found a copy of "The Life of Greece" by Will Durant and started from the beginning of Western civilization. I'm reading "On Human Bondage" (Somerset Maugham) now. I'm delighted at how unforgivingly he describes the more timeless trials of youth and unrequited love. For his having been educated in the wane of the Victorian era, his language is sometimes a bit risqué: "Except for his ridiculous vanity he would never have troubled himself with the ill-mannered slut." Thanks to gail I spent some time last spring and summer studying music appreciation and came to better understand some terms for describing the world around us. And Goole Earth of course

Hi Roger! I am glad to see you back.
History was always something of a mystery to me, and what there was, like yours, a bit slanted shall we say. While we also had WASHINGTON (George, who had lived down the street, at Mount Vernon, not far from my house) and then some other stuff, and then the War of Northern Aggression, and then some other stuff, and then there was The Space Race and John Glenn. There ya go, everything you ever needed to know about American History.
Hmmm, Life of Greece, good idea. But there was also Eastern Civ and the Silk Road, I need to know more about those too!
And more about the cat. And how he gets along with Kirby the Bird.

(I wondered if someone had actually broken down and ordered the noodles. I'm much happier to see that you back.)

Hey, there! Good to see/hear you. Does the free-flying Kirby mean you got him trained to your finger? Or don't you have any fingers left? And how did you acquire the cat ....or did the cat acquire you? we need pix. Hey gail glad to sear you too! Sorry I'm so slow at answering posts—Somerset Maugham...You understand? Funny, I'm reading a book about a stupid guy and an ignorant slut (Maugham's verbiage not mine) and tonight I plug in a movie and it turns out to be about a stupid guy and an ignorant slut (Only You), go figger [/img]. I hope the book turns out as good as the movie. You'll have to wait for the full story of the freebird and the new cat— those are not simple questions in my world. I will say that Kirby still has no respect for the finger but he is free to come and go as he pleases inside or outside of the house. He's made several wing about's on his own and comes home to the call of his rescue tape. The cat—Calleycat—was abandoned (dropped off!) with the young mother and four 5 week old siblings.

Durant wrote an entire encyclopedia of ancient and post modern civilization—eleven volumes called "The Story of Civilization". I talked to a girl in Spokane that has at least five in very good condition. I'm going in tomorrow to check them out and haggle with her. I hope the dry climate is agreeing with you! Kirby d Bird and Calleycat?... well they are predator and prey so they do not stay in the same room if I'm out of hearing range and I think she understands that she would be severely sanctioned if she was to so much as to touch Kirby's fortress. They do posture though and there is jealousy on either side.

Good to see you, Roger! (I wondered if someone had actually broken down and ordered the noodles. I'm much happier to see that you back.) I have to say I would have been devastated if you had just popped in and said "no noodles yet" and went on your merry way. Have you tried Mung Bean noodles? I use Golden Star® Saifun? 65g carbs, 2g fiber, 2%DV calcium and 6%Iron, in 1cup Back on thread eh.
