An important night of competition.

Rats! I should have included choices for "1 and 2," "2 and 3," and "1 and 3."
I voted "all" but I'll probably switch back and forth between the debate and the ball game.

While you switch programs, I'll switch networks carrying the debate. They have different features and sometimes camera angles, not to mention the discussion afterwards. I wish I had several TVs I could line up so I could watch all channels at once.
I know, hopelessly geeky. I think this is the most important election of my lifetime.

We will watch the debate with some of our friends in Second Life (talk about geekiness), with our other computer screen streaming MSNBC.
I still love my Dodgers, and if they win, great. If not, they made a heckuva run.
And I just watched Bringing Up Baby a couple of weeks ago. If one hasn't seen it, one should. Great screwball comedy.

Possible I'll turn on the TV and watch a bit of debate or ball game, but more likely not.

I voted for neither. They'll be over by the time I get off work.
However, like Joe, I had no more need for listening to the politicians gab away to make up my mind. My absentee ballot is signed, sealed and in the mail to New York State.

Too late, I realized I could have included "Gore vs. Bush," as one of my HBO channels was running a movie called "Recount," about the 2000 election. I caught about the last hour of it. Interesting to relive it all, and I was riveted on it at the time.
Like the two Kennedy assassinations, it truly makes me wonder what might have happened.

"Bringing Up Baby" was earlier than the debate here on the left coast. The ball game seems to have begun earlier but continue through the debate. I'll watch the debate rather than the second half of the movie, but I think I'll catch the later broadcast of "Gunga Din."
HBO is showing "Section 60" later tonight after the debate is over. I watched it a couple nights ago and it was very good - you might want to catch it booky.
We have a gubernatorial debate after Obama-McCain, but I think I will have had enough politics by then. My mind is made up on the governor.
