That is a dwarf. This is a Smurf. OK, now I can freely thank you. Do they come in different colors (preferably 7), or just blue?

Do you want to make Sneezy pale green? Sort of like the background of my avatar?

Sure! What have you found?

Sorry, I hadn't found anything. I leave that to the techies. Just making a suggestion for you to consider when lirio or booky or somebody comes up with a palette for the dwarves. Red for Bashful is obvious, and library pallor for Doc. The others need a better imagination than mine.

Watch out, Joe! Ruth Harrison will smite you for that!

Please don't tell her. Meanwhile, I'll tiptoe past her desk on my way to another topic.

Need to be uniform in size, and probably no more than 60-70 pixels square. I'll keep looking.

More on their colors. Dopey: the youngest, sweetest, and silliest of the seven, and the only one to be completely bald and beardless; wears a too large lime green tunic and purple cap.*
Grumpy: the grouchiest and most curmudgeonly of the group, though even he is supremely devoted to the beautiful Snow White; wears a red tunic, long white hair and beard.
Doc: the only one of the dwarfs to wear glasses (so presumably the most intellectual); wears an orange-brown tunic, long white hair and beard.
Happy: the most rotund of the dwarfs; wears a brownish two-tone tunic, yellow cap, long white hair and beard.
Bashful: evokes his bashful nature through a classic pose of shyness (hands clasped behind back, shoulders slightly raised, eyes upturned); sometimes difficult to distinguish between Sneezy and Sleepy; depicted in purple tunic and magenta cap (on video), as well as long white hair and beard.
Sneezy: frequently shown with one finger underneath his nose, as if trying to stifle a sneeze; sometimes difficult to distinguish between Sleepy and Bashful; wears a yellow-brown tunic, long white hair and beard.
Sleepy: perhaps the most difficult to differentiate between Sleepy and Bashful, though he wears a perpetually sleepy looking, heavily lidded expression on his face; wears a brownish tunic, green cap, long white hair and beard.
*Color descriptions of the dwarfs’ clothing are based on a composite of their portrayal in the video of the movie and in the online storybook.

This explains SOOO Much! I did not know this. Lirio, {belated} congratulations on coming up with this great idea. How fun is that?!? Actually, it has been baffling for me, not understanding the system. My question now is, "Who is in charge here?" I mean, who has the Power to do stuff like I just read through? I have been on other proboards that are exactly like this one, and their In-Charge-Person has programmed in additional stuff that we don't have. Our Smilies don't work anymore. And they are limited. I want new emoticons. Who does that? Please do that, Somebody-in-Charge. Can't even get a blush around here. Knock! Knock! Hellooooo . . .?

Having never Smote someone before, I just tried to smite Trusty. You know, knock off one of his perfect 2,000 posts . . . and Trusty is UnSmoteable. I wasted my exalt/smite function, but his number of posts did not change.
He is untouchable. And clearly, deaf.

I think we should have a convergence on Trusty. An avalanche of email or at least if someone has his phone # they could call. I'm a bit worried that he hasn't even checked in for quite a while.

Jay, lirio and I have done research - no luck finding him. Have even considered a run down to Dahlonega, GA. Jay may have his son's phone number in FL and try to contact. I sent a note to someone I thought might be his wife, no answer.
I have been worried.

Yes, it's weird and worrisome. I have another thought as well - if Trusty is no longer the admin of this board, can the subs make changes? Looking to see if an email was listed for someone, I noticed I had to check through 3 pages of member names, many of whom have never posted or not in 2-3 years. Can Joe clean that up? Do we have to petition proboards for a new admin? That feels uncomfortably like deposing the king, but no one is at the helm.
As I recall, Trusty chose Dan, slb2, and Joe to help keep order (heh). Since Dan only drops in occasionally and slb2 is gone, can Joe institute any changes we'd like to see?
I definitely agree it would be good to find Trusty and be assured he and his are ok.

She's one of my Facebook friends....would that help? She's on there, you could send a message to her even if she's not a friend.
