Hi Kat12! Welcome to our home away from home.
Unfortunately, I am disqualified on two counts. 1. I'm no longer in my 20's. and 2. I don't possess much in the way of talent...at least not in the entertainment field.

Sorry to say I'm in SeattleDan's boat (a neat trick, since we're at opposite ends of the country), but
Go for it, kat12, and keep us informed about how it is going.

Hey Kat, I just exalted you for joining us. I'm betting no one else on this forum is age-qualified, but we'll be very enthusiastic of you entering the contest! It's possible you could even get a live cheering section out of us on the Ides of March show.

Hi Kat ! Can you tell us what your talent is? Do you juggle? Pull a rabbit out of a hat? Maybe you have a tattoo on your eyebrow that dances when you blink? Play Shostakovich on your piercings?
We are nothing if not curious. Well maybe crazy but that's suppose to be a secret.

I'd love to sing for the talent show...unfortunately, I'm without accompanist at the moment so I'm not sure if it'll happen. Am debating whether I'd like to try to find one (the rule that all members of the act have to be between 20 and 29 makes it a bit more difficult). I don't know that many people who play piano to begin with, even fewer in that age range, and pretty mucn none who I am sure would be available/interested. Plus I've just moved to a new area where I know no one...and while I could ask my church music director if she knows of someone, I'm wary of using someone I don't know. I'd hate to get somebody flaky who's not really interested in/committed to doing it, be invited to the show, and then have them say "oh, I can't do it..."

Well, if the music director knows somebody in the age range, you could give it a try and see if he/she seems to be any good before you apply (not sure how much time that gives you). It could even be a good item for conversation on the show. "I just moved to a new home, and didn't know anyone. The church music director recommended _______, and I only met him/her early in January. …"
I still think you should go for it.
