I beg everyone's pardon. I didn't realize that I had crossed posts with gk.
Bowing, bowing, and backing out of the room. (I get upset when scolded.)

I think we are snookered with that darned tartan.
Booklady, take no notice, but I cannot think of the follow-on from plaid.

[glow=green,2,300]I hear you bookie. It truly does suck. I will 'zalt you cos you handled it with style. (I tend to want to rip heads offa shoulders, but have thus far restrained.) Scoldin' makes the soul feel scalded.[/glow]
(I seem to be hooked on the glowy green font.)

I have just done a search at OneLook.com and don't see any words ending in -aid that can be used next.
ITMA, is there a rule against repeating a word? Could we, for example, re-use "plain" or "plait"?

I thought I only scolded my children. Didn't mean to sound or be scolding anyone else.flaidglaid blaid claid klaid plaid slaid vlaid fraid It's in the dictionary, but it is non-standard

llirio!
I llaughed out lloud at your llama lline!
(Off topic but the Welsh people have a lot of towns and names of people with the double "L" in it and it is pronounced with great difficulty. I don't quite know how to put it phonetically.)
It got us out of a tight spot though! Good fun.
So did Thomas' Belgian Car ad. Interesting to myself - I have never heard of it and I haven't seen one either.
So to get back on track.
