I found a VideoHelp website where fans are having the same problems we are. I found it a couple days ago, and already some links that were working then are now erased (MPR is scrubbing fast and thorough). But some of these latest links are still live, and some of the posters do have personal files they are willing to share. There is a PM function where you can ask another poster for a missing show. In fact, a poster here briefly st Chatter was working on getting all the old shows, and it's in a thread here somewhere (I think gk knows where?)
All of Chris Thile's shows (or at least substantial excerpts) since he took over last year seem to be available on the current PHC website.

When the Chatterbox Cafe was shut down in Sept 2006, mention was made of The WayBack Machine as a way to capture the convos that had been erased. I remember a bit of messing with it but don't recall details:

PS - that reminds me, this isn't the first time we fans (the Dopey Cronies) have been abruptly shut out. I wonder if Julia has recorded old shows? She forewarned us in 2006.
The Google chrome search yields a better looking site for Wayback, haven't explored it though:
chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wayback-machine/fpnmgdkabkmnadcjpehmlllkndpkmiak?hl=en-US
It looks like a Google search (or Chrome, haven't tested others) for "how to use the wayback machine" or "alternatives to the wayback machine" could also be helpful.
The name "Wayback Machine" originated on the old "Rocky and Bullwinkle" cartoon show, where Mr. Peabody was able to use the Wayback Machine to revisit the past. Probably quite a few of us remember Rocky & Bullwinkle.
