I dont have these photos installed on my computer at work, but if you go to www.jacksonst-books.com, find the photos and click on Adam Felber, you will see some fine pictures of our event at the store with funny guy Felber.

The photo albums were set up by M00sie and I was an assistant. She has not been heard from for a while, so that leaves only me. If you would like more info, access, or want to add to the collection, just ask.

How does this work, Eddie? I loved that feature at yahoo.groups. The photo feature, that is. I like to be able to see the scrumptious folks with whom I am chatting. Besides, some of the dudes ain't too bad!

But that's the old Chatterboxers Albums going back yonks!
I've had a hair-cut since then.
Is there no other connection to the short-lived one we had in the intermediate site or do I delete that one from my list?
I am truly in a Woebegone state. And I use that word advisedly.

Back to that first link for the Kodak Gallery that Trusty posted. I have absolutely no idea what to do once I click on it. May I buy a vowel, please?

Okay, for people that were not around in the "good old days".
The deal on the albums was "Send in a picture of you, it gets added to the albums and you were then invited to view pix of the others already in the albums."
Send your (wholesome) photos to me at edsfam@hotmail.com and I will set the ball in motion. I have been trying to figure out a way to do this easilyer but with no luck.

I clicked on Trusty's link and got a slide show of one of the three albums. It was supposed to be secure from prying by unscruppled voyeurs. Alas and sigh.
I found the old info back at the CB Cafe:
//The going rate for admission into the albums was supposed to be at least 1 photo of you ( or something like that ). Exceptions were made early on by M00sie.
IMHO: How can we expose ourselves to humiliation and ridicule to you with out a target to shoot back at.
e-mail a picture (preferably attractive) to chatterboxcafepix@yahoo.com. Any format, any size.//

It'd probably be easiest to just post your own pictures over at the yahoo.groups site, then announce it here. Go here and if you're not a member, sign up. Post your photo(s) and then view everyone else's. groups.yahoo.com/group/APHC-Chit-Chat/

So, edsfam, does wholesome imply current? I was mighty cute in first grade.

w00t? is this some new 'net code?
The engines, whole and in part, are radiant, shimmering, matchless. The car and La Fille are celestial - but don't we need a newer photo of La Fille? And bring us up to date on what you two are doing - school, jobs, dreams....
Sweet cat.

w00t? is this some new 'net code? The engines, whole and in part, are radiant, shimmering, matchless. The car and La Fille are celestial - but don't we need a newer photo of La Fille? And bring us up to date on what you two are doing - school, jobs, dreams.... Sweet cat. w00t is nothing new on the internet. It's an expression equivalent to "woohoo." I just uploaded the newest picture I have of La Fille, although it's significantly less flattering than the older one. Both her and I are still in school and doing well (at least she is). Jobs? She's a tutor. I'm currently unemployed. Dreams? I'm dreaming of having that blasted car run the way I want. Hard to say for la fille, so she'll have to chime in for that one. 'Sides, it'll give me some leverage to get her back on here. And the cat isn't mine. Because of some conflict of interest, flex kicked me out of the house to do the engine swap, so I spent the week at a friend's house in the middle of nowhere, which is why I had an engine in the passenger seat. Anyway, that was his cat. This post is getting waaay too off topic for this section, so I think I'll continue this line of thought elsewhere.

I followed the link offered by Trusty and I have posted a pic that sisterbeer wanted to see.
It is in the Brit album not surprisingly. ;D
There is a story about the roll that Rolf has under his arm, and I think some of you know about it already.

If it's a single message, look at the top right corner of the message box. There are three "buttons" marked "reply", "quote" and "delete". Press "delete", and follow instructions.
If it's the list of messages, you have the "inbox" (incoming messages) and "outbox" (outgoing messages). You can check the messages you want to delete and press "delete all".

Sir -
What, exactly, is the difference between a "guest" and an "invisible?"

If you go up top and click on "Profile", your important info screen will pop up.
Click on "Modify Profile" and a whole bunch of stuff comes up that you can add, delete, change or leave alone.
Scroll down to "Account Preferences", and you will see a button that says "Stay Invisible". Its default position is "No". Choosing "Yes" will make it so that you are not listed as online except to staff members. You will probably want to stay on "No" so other people can tell when you log on to the site (bottom of cover page).
(I had to choose "Yes" for awhile because my computer was on all the time and people thought I was up looking at the site when I was snug in my bed dreaming away.)
---
Now, a Guest is one who has not registered as a member yet. Simple? Maybe; some members can be guests if they don't log in. (I was a Guest once when I used another computer to check the boards.)
Bottom line is the terms "Invisible" and Guest" really have nothing to do with each other.
Hope that helps.

I think what Trusty is trying to say is that "invisible" is a registered and logged in member who has selected the "Stay Invisible" option in his and/or her profile; while a "guest is someone who is viewing the site who is not registered and logged in (and who therefore looks like, and probably is, a non-member).

Hey Brit, not everyone gets up late in the day. I took this a few weeks back as I took a day off and got up about 5 am and drove about an hour south and waited for the sun to come up so I could watch birds and enjoy the world waking up.

David you have an instinctive eye for capturing a sunrise whilst reflecting lovely soft colours on sky and water in a great composition of a Florida dawning. Well worth getting up for in the small wee hours of the morning. Thank you for sharing!
Your photograph reminded me of J. N. "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island!
