:oWOW!!! II Julia*, I'd like to know if he ever came home late? Yes. But it was against the rules, it worried me sick, and there were consequences for him -- mostly losing car privileges, the duration of which directly correlated to the severity of the infraction, all of which he knew up front. We didn't go round and round discussing it (which would not have been in his best interest). He complained to someone he trusted and pulled out this "idiotic, oppressive contract" his mother had signed. That person, bless his heart, told my son he had it good -- our expectations were spelled out on paper. A lot of parents simply tell their kids to shape up, like they know what that specifically means.

I know a guy that refuses to give his kids an allowance. He says it teaches them to live on welfare. "Oh... you lived another week? Why, you deserve to be PAID for that!"

I nominate "freakin' and/or frickin'" as the least useful euphemisms of the year.
Say the freakin' word you want to. Everyone at the trailer park does.

We need to leverage our resources accordingly to meet the requirements of the...
Those of you acquainted with federal government workers know what I mean. Leverage (ing) is the most annoyingly overused term of the year.

I hear you, Milhouse. I hate it when my boss tells me that he's developing strategies that will enable us to leverage our diminishing resources -- what a load of frickin' hogwash!

I think it's, "You must make verify."
Modifying after further consideration and other ideas: I think I got it right the first time. It is the response to a claim of, "All your base are belong to us."

Or else, "You've met my virgin."
Or, "Yummy maple mocha vanilla."
Maybe, "You misuse my volunteers." Or is that "…many volunteers?"
