First show of the New Year! And it's looking good. I'm sorta confused by this. They're in the Rocky Mountains broadcasting a show from San Francisco? I'm easily confused when I'm busy. (Did I mention that I am busy? Too many deadlines.)
We've heard on another thread that Maria Muldaur and the Stairwell Sisters will be on stage. I thought I'd stick to the tradition of starting a new thread to talk about the show. My bear-baby will be fiddling and saxing (is that a verb?) --Andy Stein, in case you haven't been following my latest swoon.
Have fun listening.

Oh fooey. I have to go to San Francisco for a meeting, and I thought I would catch the Prairie Home companion show while I was there.
But the show is the 13th, and the meeting is the 20th. I should be paying better attention.

"Buckets of Rain" is a Dylan song. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) "Moonlight" might be also. Not sure if she's going to sing his "Moonlight" or someone else's. "Won't you....meet me....out in the moonlight alone....."

I think she was referring to seattle's reputation for being rainy! Not undeserved, especially this year, BTW.

Tempted to follow Kite's remark about hard to follow - it would be hard to swallow too!

wonder if this referral to radio programs comes from this week's question by a listener to GK about old radio shows

Old shows - how about "Life of Riley?" Where do we find these old shows? Doc, when I did a "radio show" unit at school I was able to check out from my town library a very large boxed collection of old radio shows on cassette tape. There were probably 25 tapes in it.
