Hey Jay, did you know that Inga got her Master's degree here in Tallahassee in Choral Directing? No, I didn't. Do they brag about that much, in Tallahassee? I've never seen any signs posted or anything.

I would think it would be a credit in a film or performance rather than a sign, but I dunno. There were professional musicians in my family but no choral director. And "Choir Director" was what Vern Sutton did on the APHC cruises but I think his professional labels were different. And lengthy.

Well, I'm feeling pretty good; I've made it to just about the end of the show without falling asleep. You guys take care and have a safe and wonderful Independence Day. We'll see you next week!

Say dw, can you tell me if my cousin Steve Peacock still lives in Tallahassee? I have lost track of him and his sister, that's what happens when one moves around so much.
Well, it's been a good show, y'all have a good long weekend, celebrating our Independence Day. Here's hoping we make it to the 250th! I spent the Bicentennial sailing the Hudson on the Sloop Clearwater. That was memorable, I hope it wasn't the peak and there are more good days ahead.

I can snoop around

I know you found him for me once some years ago - reminds me that we have operated this forum a long time. He is in his late 60's, grew up in Jacksonville, as did most of my aunts and cousins on my dad's side, though some were in Georgia around the old family farm in Screven. His father was Hank Peacock (Theron Henry Peacock) also grew up in Jax and was married to my aunt Dorothy Clary Peacock (my father's sister). I've found out more about him on Ancestry and his side of the family than I have found on those who are "blood relatives." He was active in the Episcopal Church - all those relatives were either Lutheran (they were Finland Swedes after all) or Episcopal.
