I liked the music. I wish I had time to read and listen and make art. I feel like all I am doing is working from home and trying to order groceries. *sigh* Maybe this weekend...

Interesting. I went back to watch it again and I got a different version. And then another version. And then still another one. All from clicking the link you posted. How cool. I still like the first one I saw the best. It had bagpipe music. This one

Have y'all seen "The Lyin Tweets Tonight"? I think it's pretty funny. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkU1ob_lHCwWhenever I hear the song "Weem-o-weh" I think of Pete Seeger. Back when the first "Lion King" movie came out using that song as its theme, Pete widely proposed that when a traditional folk song was used for a commercial purpose, a portion of the revenues derived from that use be devoted to causes that perpetuate and preserve traditional music. The kids and I heard Pete talk about that one year at Storytelliing, and after his set was done, we went up and talked with Pete, reminisced about our days on the sloop Clearwater. The kids have vivid positive memories of Pete and that encounter to this day.

"The Liar Tweets Tonight — Vote Him Away" could be considered a "perfect song."

Let's have a Watch-Party. GK put out this short, 21-minute, video along Sue Scott, Fred Newman, and Tim Russell. Let's set a time to watch it together and have some conversation, like when we listen to LFH. I don't know people's schedules, but what about Friday evening at 8 pm Central time? Is that too late or early for you? Let's nail down a time, it's only twenty minutes. Here's the link, but don't watch it prematurely. I'll try to post the video right , too.

For me, Friday (tomorrow? right)at 6 pm PDT would work. Just get a consensus and I'll probably be there whenever since I'm just hanging out at home anyway.
There is also a full 2 hour show open for view on the Facebook site. I think it's still there, though for some limited time.

While we wait or decide what else to do - have you seen the story about Anderson Cooper's new baby boy? He's a dad! What a wonderful, happy story at a time like this. Wyatt Morgan Cooper.

GK does look a lot older, and it's been I think less than 3 years since I saw him on that last cruise London - Norway.

I'm a screw-up. I had a nagging feeling I should visit PrairieChatter yesterday, but then got caught up in other activities. Sigh. Is there any hope for me?

Well, I didn't watch it, waiting in anticipation of our group-watch, but that might not materialize. Does anyone else want to coordinate my idea. I can barely string two thoughts together.
