It's summer; time for a new game. With this game, I'll list four items (people, objects, places, etc.) and you pick the one that doesn't belong. If you are right, you dream up the next four items.
Also, an explanation from the Item Poster about why the right answer is the right answer would be nice.

I hadn't considered that the right answer might be given, but not for the correct reason. I'm making a unilateral decision that the right answer WITH the right reason is the only way to win and move ahead. joew, haven't even heard of "Says You." Ace, neither. What is it?

It's a radio program which is broadcast immediately after APHC on WGBH in Boston. (If you want the Boston Symphony after APHC, you have to switch to WCRB.) It is a game show with two teams of three people. Yesterday's show included a round of "Odd Man Out." Other competitions include trying to guess the definition of weird words, giving the next line of a song, telling what happened on a certain date, etc.

Right pick, wrong reason. Anyone else wanna try? Of course books and joew can continue to puzzle it out, too.

Knowing our dear sweet Slb2, I'd say that Bhutan has no French connection. The other three were probably invaded or occupied by France at one time or another, while Bhutan was left alone.
That's my guess.

Hmmm. Maybe our world-traveler, DocK, will make note of the correct reason.

I know, I know! KitKat has cereal in it.
How do I know? Because it is one of 2 candy bars not taxed in MN because the ag lobby got it exempted as food.

It may well have cereal in it (what do you mean - candy isn't food?), but in this instance, it's not the odd man out.
