Well, I am here in the land of Flint (no drinkable water for four years), PFAS in the drinking water from Wolverine World Wide (Hush Puppies and many other shoes) in communities a bit north of me, and other nefarious water difficulties. But my son-in-law is the chemist in charge of making sure that GR water (from Lake Michigan) is pure mostly. No, really, pure completely. He is the carefullest person I know, so I feel safe. But you never know. After researching the PBB crisis (ongoing) from 1973, I don't trust anybody anywhere.

I don't trust anybody anywhere, either. Except you and me, and frankly, I'm not sure about you.

Okay, that was funny, but we must all hold hands and stick together.

Okay, that was funny, but we must all hold hands and stick together. True, True. Thus, the Winky Face. That was an old one-liner, one able to be misunderstood in print rather than face-to-face with the Wink, Wink, Nudge, Nudge. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I think it's an old Quaker saying--"I don't like (or trust, or believe, or whatever) thee and me, and sometimes I'm not sure about thee."

Or Ben Franklin, who said that three people can keep a secret as long as two of them are dead.
I'm in Washington, DC (my home town) although not really, because we are far out in exurbia, Loudoun County, VA. That's OK, I was born in DC but did a lot of my growing up, and of course medical school, in Virginia.
I had no unfortunate airport or airplane incidents. The TSA has apparently become better behaved, as I haven't had any altercations with them lately, and even when I alarmed the machine, all they did was check my left shoulder (the real alarm place is my metallic left knee!) No karate chops to the groin.
Non-stop flight SEA-IAD, only problem was I was in the back in a middle seat, but that is what happens when you change your flight at the last minute, you take what's left. But Alaska Airlines even refunded the money I had paid for a "premium seat" the day before - most airlines won't do that, no complaints from me.
